Responsibilities

As a Compensation Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting the development, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's compensation programs. This role involves conducting market research, analyzing job roles, and assisting in the administration of the compensation structure. The Compensation Analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the development, implementation, and administration of compensation programs within the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in evaluating and classifying job roles to ensure accurate placement within the compensation structure.
  • Conduct job analyses to gather relevant data on job responsibilities, qualifications, and market trends.
  • Participate in salary surveys and benchmarking studies, and collect and analyze market data to benchmark compensation against industry standards.
  • Monitor trends in compensation and benefits to provide recommendations for maintaining competitiveness.
  • Support the administration of annual salary reviews, bonus programs, and other incentive plans.
  • Ensure compliance with legal requirements related to compensation practices.
  • Utilize analytical tools and software to analyze compensation data and trends.
  • Collaborate with HR, finance, and other relevant departments to gather information and ensure consistency in compensation practices.
  • Work closely with recruiters to provide guidance on appropriate salary ranges for new hires.
  • Assist in developing and updating compensation policies and procedures.
  • Stay informed about changes in labor laws and regulations affecting compensation.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws regarding compensation practices.

Qualifications

Talent Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
  • One (1) to two (2) years of experience in compensation analysis or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in compensation benchmarking tools, data analysis tools, and Microsoft Excel data analysis tools.
  • Knowledge of compensation principles, practices, and legal requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis and reporting.
