Job Description

MV Transportation is seeking an Electrification Expert who will partner with the client on their business plan and advise MV of their market position. This individual is adept in innovative transportation strategies, including electrification technologies and best practices. The electrification leader works with client fleet vehicles and component manufacturers as well as electrification consultants in developing best practices for electric fleets. This position will spend significant time developing comprehensive documentation regarding the electric fleet and infrastructure and facilitating curricula relative to electric vehicle fleet maintenance. They will work with infrastructure partners as needed to deliver a sustainable electrification strategy that can be deployed nationally.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Partner with client on the full zero emission journey
  • Advise client on industry standards
  • Infrastructure requirements:
    • Facility Requirements
    • Public Utility
    • On site storage
    • Battery sizing
    • Chargers, types and location
    • TCO and financial analysis of the shift to zero emission fleets
    • Support planning of routes, schedules and operations
    • Maintenance strategy
    • Gathering and analyzing market insights

Talent Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent, some college
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office package including word processing and spreadsheets
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced multi-tasking environment
  • Ability to read, write and speak English
  • Ability to communicate effectively on all levels
