Job Description

MV Transportation is seeking a Facilities Maintenance QA/Service Writer to ensure the quality of work orders and preventative maintenance. This position also works with various vendors sourcing parts and equipment for work orders.

Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Performs audits on work order notes and charge outs.
  • Works directly with Facilities Supervisors to schedule work for the crews.
  • Transports parts, equipment and tools between various sites to support the teams.
  • Perform quality checks and audits on both works conducted, work documented and maintains reports.
  • Assists parts department working specifically with Facilities MRO parts, requesting/entering POs. Checking stock levels in parts department and shop stock.
  • Assists supervisors and maintenance manager in logging regulatory certifications and permits.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Computer skills, including Word, Excel, familiarity with CMMS/EAM systems.
  • Flexible schedule as pertains to OT and supervisory shift coverage.
  • Five (5)+ years of Facilities Maintenance experience, including Industrial Maintenance.
  • Strong multitasking skills, ability to keep multiple projects/tasks moving and on schedule.

Our Procurement team was able to secure an order for more than a half-million masks and other personal protection equipment, which have been sent to our divisions.
