Job Description

MV Transportation is seeking experienced Level A Fleet Services Technicians. Successful candidates will perform preventative maintenance, diagnosis, service and repair of steering, suspension, brakes, engines, transmissions, differentials, electrical, wheelchair lifts, and air conditioning systems. Successful applicants must be able to work safely, perform part analysis on damaged parts and assist in inventory control or other duties as necessary.


  • Starting pay of $25.71 per hour
  • Benefits cost covered 80% in first year and up to 100% after
  • $2.40 per hour toward pension

Duties include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Diagnoses, examines, and investigates vehicles to determine causes of defective operation of engines, transmissions, differential units, generators, starters, pumps, air suspension systems, pneumatic systems, radiators, injectors, clutches, air conditioning systems, and other vehicle components.

Talent Requirements:

  • Must have five (5) years of experience in a professional automotive / truck repair environment.
  • Alternative fuel experience preferred.
  • A/C certification preferred.
  • ASE certifications preferred.
  • Must self-certify competency on brake service and repair.
  • Trade school/college graduate preferred.
  • Must possess tools necessary to complete job function.
  • Must be a least 21 years of age.
  • Work well with others and willing to learn.
  • Must be able to lift 60 pounds.
