Liability Claims Analyst in Dallas, TX at MV Transportation

Job Description

MV Transportation is seeking a Liability Claims Analyst to provide support to the Liability Claims Program Manager and Director of Liability Claims. This role reports to the Director of Liability Claims and will play an integral part in assisting the risk management team with a wide range of administrative responsibilities. This role requires a basic understanding of the claim intake and handling process.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Opening, stamping, reviewing, and assigning mail to appropriate claim folders
• Reporting claims to insurers when appropriate
• Responding to TPA emails regarding intake inquiries
• Downloading video and putting in corresponding claim folders
• Fielding phone calls and voicemails and responding to accordingly or directing to the appropriate person to respond
• Obtaining contracts and uploading to appropriate folders
• Maintaining Claims-Missing Documents Reports by ensuring all needed missing documents are uploaded to the appropriate folders
• Ordering police and accident reports
• Intaking and setting up new claims
• Coordinating with Safety on data collection
• Assisting in collection of documents needed for discovery responses
• Assisting in organizing and maintaining claims folders

Qualifications

Talent Requirements:

• Three (3) + years experience providing support to TPA claims team
• Current liability adjuster license preferred
• Bachelor’s Degree, Associate in Claims (AIC), Associate in Risk Management (ARM) or other claims, risk, or legal certifications preferred
