Job Description

MV Transportation is looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Director. This role is responsible for overseeing all quality assurance efforts within our Redmond division, including the development and implementation of a quality assurance program.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and monitor quality assurance programs.
  • Create a data driven culture that uses data to improve operations.
  • Create and administer quality assurance management systems.
  • Become an expert in the MV existing QA management systems.
  • Evaluate and improve QA processes.
  • Develop strong working relationships with Operations and IT to ensure that the QA process is working and used.
  • Identify possible errors and areas of improvement.
  • Maximize output and efficiency in accordance with MV Scorecard.
  • Define QA policies in conjunction with MV best practices and the Redmond division scorecard.

Talent Requirements:

  • B.A. or B.S. Degree required with relevant field of study preferred, graduate education a strong plus.
  • Ten (10) + years' experience in a well-developed QA function, with strong project management experience.
  • Excellent MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook) capabilities required
  • Strong written communication and presentation skills are required
  • Three (3) to five (5) years' experience in a leadership role ideally in a Quality Assurance role.
  • Lean or Six Sigma certification is a strong plus.
  • Logistics industry experience is a strong plus.
  • Strong familiarity with Power BI is a significant plus.
  • Knowledge of writing SQL Queries is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills, ability to prepare and deliver executive level presentations.
