Job Description

MV Transportation is seeking an Quality Assurance / IT Manager for the quality assurance program of local operations in corporate and client policies.

  • Be the go-to person for all Trapeze and other software related programs and issues.
  • Coordinate and conduct Trapeze/IT related triage and testing.
  • Develop and maintain runs in Trapeze.
  • Ensure trips for next day service are scheduled.
  • Perform union negotiated shift bids.
  • Perform various quality assurance tasks involved with tracking statistical data in Trapeze.
  • Assist in testing and deployment of pilot/program initiatives.
  • Prepare, revise and update policies and procedures based on best practices. Keep desktop policy procedure books update.
  • Ensure all IT and software related programs are managed/developed during all phases from the implementation, maintenance, operational and if necessary, phase out stage.
  • Provide/Coordinate training for all assigned projects.
  • Statistical analysis of performance metrics.
  • Ensure all eligible employees are issued a cell phone. Collect and return cell phones to corporate, if requested to, from employees who may leave or transfer from the division.
  • Oversee employee comment process.
  • Audit various department for policy/procedural compliance.
  • Maintain various spreadsheets and databases used to track employee statistics.
  • Be a backup for the Operations and Customer Service Manager when needed.
  • Collect data for any bonuses that may be due and submit list to GM for review.
  • Manage the Katherine McClary award program at the divisional level.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Talent Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required; ideal candidate will have at least two (2) years of transit Industry experience.
  • MS SQL experience preferred.
  • Microsoft Office experience, specifically Word, Excel, Access, Publisher and Outlook.
  • Trapeze Integrated Transit Software experience in Public Transit Operations a must.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, verbal, written and problem solving skills.
  • Self-starter who needs minimal supervision.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills with extreme attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Demonstrate regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
