Job Description


MV Transportation is seeking an onsite Recruiting Coordinator/Qualifications Coordinator who is responsible for ensuring that all employees have properly completed the pre-employment qualifications process prior to beginning work.  Qualified applicants must have strong communication skills and enjoy working with people in a team environment. 

Responsibilities include: 

  • Front-line contact with applicants and divisional personnel to collect all necessary documentation for pre-employment processing 
  • Review new hire qualification packets to ensure all applicable qualification standards are met with regards to driving history, DOT prior employment checks and physicals 
  • Monitor status of background checks, physicals, and drug screens to ensure that pending items are communicated and resolved in a timely manner 
  • Communicate daily status reports on open/pending applicants with divisions 
  • Partner with HR to generate ID numbers as employees are cleared for duty 


Talent Requirements:

  • Excellent communications skills (both verbally and written)
  • Strong attention to detail and timely with applicant updates 
  • Ability to work both individually and in a team environment 
  • Working knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Prior HR or recruiting experience preferred
