Responsibilities

MV Transportation is seeking a Reservations Supervisor for our Hyattsville division. Successful candidate will: 

• Assist Department Manager with leading reservations staff by demonstrating a positive example, coaching team members for success, handling escalated customer service calls, and scheduling Reservations staff 
• Manage daily operations of Reservations Department to include promoting quality performance and schedule adherence
• Monitor performance management of Reservationists through coaching and documenting progressive discipline measures 
• Must have ability to proficiently utilize a windows-based Reservation software system 
• Professionally interact and communicate with client and other providers and staff to ensure high-quality service delivery both verbally and in writing
• Utilize Microsoft-based software to do a combination of data entry and analysis business information; ensure performance benchmarks are met and completed within established deadlines, research and respond to customer complaints; maintain the highest standards of excellence in appearance and attitude

Qualifications

Talent Requirements: 

• Prior supervisory experience required; preferably within a call center environment 
• Ability to handle escalated client reservation issues with tact and be customer-focused
• Demonstrated experience coaching for success with direct reports
• Able to be flexible and work in a fast-paced environment 
• Excellent understanding of Trapeze software system 
• Excellent communication and decision-making skills 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
