Job Description

As part of our safety initiatives, MV Transportation will operate Drive Cam Technology in our buses. Many of these vehicles have cameras on the bus to protect our drivers and equipment. The cameras record data clips of significant events while driving. This person will supervise the review of the drive cam data and ensure they are categorized them appropriable based on their safety severity. The position will oversee accident review and reporting function and ensure corrective action is given where appropriate, and will manage the staff regarding productivity and compliance with company safety policies. The position will assist the Safety Manager with supervision of Road Supervisor activities and schedules and additional duties as assigned.

Talent Requirements:

  • Previous passenger transportation in current project or similar environment required.
  • Previous training and supervisory experience preferred.
  • Excellent safety and service record.
  • Must be able to set priorities and exercise good judgment.
  • Professional attitude.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong skills with Microsoft Office products (Word & Excel) required.
  • Knowledge of state and federal regulations and corporate safety programs and policies.
  • Ability to read, write and speak English.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work with all departments.
  • Ability to work independently and objectively.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
