Job Description

MV Transportation is seeking a Vacation Specialist for our Elk Horn, Iowa Support Center. Successful applicant will perform duties as assigned with an emphasis in the following areas:

Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and verify absence management data in the Lawson System.
  • Analyze sick/vacation history.
  • Record manual adjustments in the Lawson System.
  • Assist in addressing/researching customer inquiries.
  • Perform ad hoc analysis and audit procedures as needed.
  • Confidentiality is essential.
  • Professional customer care skills along with email and phone answering.
  • Working until 6pm most nights every week.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Attendance according to local policy.
  • Maintain a safe and organized work area.
  • Scanning/data entry.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Talent Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have data entry, familiarity with payroll and benefits and have clerical experience.
  • General knowledge of windows-based computer operating systems.
  • Proficiency in Excel required. (Outlook is the email system)
  • Ability to read, write and speak English.
  • Ability to communicate effectively on all levels.
  • Customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and follow directions.
