Job Description

MV Transportation is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager, Contract Quality Assurance to ensure the optimal results for the local operations in compliance with State and Federal regulations and corporate and client policies.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Will perform various department and subcontractor audits and trend analysis on performance metrics and create action plans to optimize outcomes.
  • Will monitor and insure MV's compliance with our clients, relevant government agencies (DOT and FTA), and contractual obligations.
  • Will support the internal and third-party audits to meet compliance regulations and service quality.
  • Implement and maintain or revise quality assurance plan and procedures and maintain various spreadsheets.
  • Assist in identifying validity of liquidated damages through investigation.
  • Ensure all reconciliations are completed timely and accurately each month.
  • Audit various department policy/compliance with procedures and KPI.
  • Statistical analysis of performance matrix and monthly reports.
  • Perform various Compliance/Quality Assurance tasks involved in tracking statistical and trending data.
  • Quality assurance interface with MV maintenance, accounting and Operations department.
  • Supervise the efforts of Quality Analysts personnel and provide reports on audits and areas of concern monthly and/or as requested.

Talent Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in business administration, transportation or related field.
  • Ideal candidate will have five (5) years progressively responsible experience in quality assurance, contract compliance, transportation operations , transit industry or related field.
  • Strong understanding in auditing against contractual obligations and KPIs
  • Ability to analyze data to understand deficiencies, perform root cause analysis, and ability to make informed recommendations.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational and writing skills with extreme attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Must have strong experience in Microsoft office-Excel, Word, Power Point and analyzing data.
  • Trapeze or Routematch Integrated Transit Software or other technology knowledge is a plus!
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and create strong team morale.
