Job Description

MV Transportation is seeking a full-time Utility/Bus Washer/Shelter Washer. Successful candidate will ensure that the fleet is fully clean and prepared for service. This includes keeping all City owned Bus Shelters clean on a weekly basis.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all vehicles are completely clean, ready for service at various times of day.
  • Clean interior and exterior of the Buses, Vans and Relief cars must be cleaned in accordance with the contract.
  • Clean all City Bus shelters per designated schedule
  • Ability to drive company truck with power washer in tow
  • Must have the ability to oversee and direct assistant Bus Washer
  • Must have the ability to work in adverse weather conditions

Talent Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to read, write and speak English.
  • Must be able to work a varied schedule, including weekends.
  • Must be 21 years of age with good driving record.
  • Class B license or be willing to obtain a class B license with air brake endorsement.

MV Transportation has been closely following the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) guidelines for personal protection equipment (PPE), which now includes gloves and hand sanitizer in our divisions. Our Procurement team was able to secure an order for more than a half-million masks and other personal protection equipment, which have been sent to our divisions.
