Job Description

MV Transportation is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Supervisor. The Facilities Maintenance Supervisor reports to the Facility Manager and will administer general building, grounds, preventive maintenance and maintenance to ensure safe work operations and in compliance with internal company standards and environmental regulations.

Job Responsibilities:

  • administer approved procedures as pertains to the assignment of tasks, use of equipment, safety, preventive maintenance on facility mechanical, electrical, and other installed systems
  • performs facilities related projects with outside contractors, vendors, maintenance personnel
  • ability to provide good customer service and interface with team members, outside contractors and general public
  • completes maintenance work orders and reports at the direction of facilities manager
  • maintain, operate all HVAC systems and associated equipment, electrical equipment, plumbing systems, building management system, and building repair
  • maintain compliance to city, county, state ordinances and codes
  • lifts moves heavy OSHA approved weight size boxes and furniture
  • event setups and support, and breaking down the setups post event
  • assist in detecting malfunctions and perform needed repairs or make recommendations
  • assists in monitoring and maintain all building systems as assigned
  • complete and/or oversee grounds work as directed; may include picking up trash, sweeping curb and dumpster areas and maintaining landscaping beds and other areas.
  • responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment, with continual emphasis on promoting employee health and safety
  • assists in training colleagues in proper safety techniques
  • perform, facilitate and document all facility maintenance PMI services including bus lifts, garage doors, air handler unit, chillier, Gas Pump Island, Bush Wash area, Maintain Pressure Washers and Transfer Pumps
  • other duties as assigned

Talent Requirements:

  • HVAC certified and have five (5) plus years of maintenance experience, preferably in a class A office building or corporate campus
  • 24/7 Emergency response availability a must
  • Minimum of two (2) years' experience

Additional Requirements:

This position is considered safety-sensitive and subject to drug and alcohol testing, including random testing, under Federal Transportation Administration (FTA) drug and alcohol regulations.
