Job Description

MV Transportation is seeking a Facility Maintenance Technician who is responsible for all aspects of the facility including but not limited to, structure, paint, windows, doors, HVAC, electrical, janitorial, managing and documenting the regular preventive maintenance.

Job Responsibilities:

The Facility Maintenance Technician under limited supervision of the Facility Manager, must act autonomously in work assignment to accomplish the workload of multiple locations and in addition the following:

  • Perform and document all facility maintenance oversight of bus shelters and bus stops
  • Diagnose facility issues for repair or communication to subcontractor or the Client including, electrical and HVAC system
  • Prepare and document work performed on computer
  • Record all parts and supplies used on equipment
  • Ensure safety policies and procedure are followed in the facility
  • Keeps a clean and safe working environment
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Talent Requirements:

  • High School diploma / two (2) year technical degree desirable
  • Minimum three (3) years progressive facility maintenance experience
  • Must be willing and able to work varied shifts, weekends and holidays as needed/assigned
  • Required to provide tools of the trade
  • Must have a functional understanding of the design, operation and maintenance of commercial office building as well as the facility and components in a heavy duty vehicle maintenance shop
  • Excellent organization skills
  • Excellent attention to detail skills
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
