Job Description

MV Transportation is seeking a HR Data Analyst to advance the talent capabilities of the organization through research, analysis, and reporting of various HR related data and information.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manages the data collection, analysis and reporting process for the bi-weekly workforce management meetings
  • Conducts ad hoc data analysis per the data analytic plan
  • Develops monthly and quarterly metrics and other analytics reporting
  • Conducts research for benchmarking data and best practices designed to favorably impact talent outcomes
  • Prepares presentations outlining data, key trends and recommendations for improvements

Talent Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business, or related field
  • At least three (3) years HR experience with HR programs and processes with an emphasis in HR analytics or Financial and/or business analysis experience
  • High level of proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint is a must
  • Experience with HR systems (HRIS, ATS, etc.) preferred
  • Strong analytical and evaluation skills to successfully and correctly identify business opportunities
  • High level of detail-orientation
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and follow-up; ability to multi-task; results-oriented
  • Strong interpersonal and written/oral communication skills
  • Strong consultative, problem solving and analytical skills required
  • Ability to independently design, implement and create executive level reports
  • Clear understanding of the critical drivers and business value of HR information
