Job Description

MV Transportation is seeking a Human Resources /Admin Clerk to join our team. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Ability to file paperwork accurately.
  • Ability to follow policy and procedures implemented by MV Transportation, Inc.
  • Ability to maintain paperwork logs.
  • Distribute paychecks on a bi-weekly basis.
  • Assist payroll manager as needed.
  • Update employee records accurately to include hire dates, pay rates, job classes, attendance, benefit enrollment and termination information.
  • Order operator uniforms and maintain uniform records.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Talent Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Ability to work independently, and prioritize daily work assignments.
  • Ability to work flexible schedule.
  • Basic math skills and attention to detail.
  • Have valid Driver's license.
  • Ability to perform work accurately and error free.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office package including word processing and spreadsheets.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced multi-tasking environment.
  • Ability to read, write and speak English.
  • Ability to communicate effectively on all levels.

MV Transportation has been closely following the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) guidelines for personal protection equipment (PPE), which now includes gloves and hand sanitizer in our divisions. Our Procurement team was able to secure an order for more than a half-million masks and other personal protection equipment, which have been sent to our divisions.
