Job Description

MV Transportation is seeking a Human Resources Manager (Generalist) who's primary role is to work with employees and the regional Human Resources Director to investigate and bring resolution to employee relations issues and manage HR-related matters in a manner consistent with the organizations policies, procedures, and state and federal law.


  • Work with managers, employees, and regional HR Director to resolve conflicts and assist with coaching/counseling on HR matters
  • Provide guidance to managers on adherence to company policies and procedures
  • Escalate or route issues that meet predefined criteria and using judgment to assess risk and sensitivity level
  • Assist with performance management and performance development
  • Assist with training and roll-out of new and existing processes and corporate initiatives


  • Ideal candidate will possess three (3) + years' experience in a Human Resources, Generalist, or Employee Relations role
  • Experience in investigating and resolving complaints and working with employees to resolve issues
  • Bachelor's degree in appropriate area of specialization and PHR/SHRM-CP certification preferred
