Job Description

MV Transportation is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to manage the Quality Assurance program of local operations in compliance with State and Federal regulations and corporate and client policies.

Position is located Las Vegas, Nevada. Relocation assistance is available.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Establish relationships with client agency personnel to identify additional training needs, resources and opportunities of the local MV operation.
  • Complete audits of all departments to ensure compliance with the Company's established policies and procedures and compliance with the operating agreement between the client and the Company.
  • Complete and submit weekly reports to location General Manager and other managers as directed.
  • Complete trending analysis as required to identifying items of needed correction.
  • Participate in client audits of the local operation.
  • Work with General Manager as needed to develop required action and compliance plans.
  • Complete additional reports as assigned.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Talent Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required or equivalent work experience.
  • Must have three (3) to five (5) years of supervisory experience in a paratransit environment with knowledge of the Trapeze scheduling software.
  • The ideal candidate would have experience in scheduling and personnel management and training.
  • Must be able to work independently and have strong written and verbal skills.
  • Knowledge of the contractual obligations is a must to perform this job correctly.
  • Trapeze experience required.
  • Experience managing fast paced environment.
  • Additional duties/responsibilities based upon individual contract requirements.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to work equally in a team environment and individually.
  • Proficient computer skills - windows based computer operating systems and Microsoft Office packages.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to read, write and speak English.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work with all departments.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to effectively delegate tasks and provide appropriate supervision and follow up to department staff.
  • Strong analytical skills.
