Job Description

MV Transportation is seeking a Reconciler to ensure the accuracy and completion of trip records in Trapeze, to ensure all records are filed timely, and to assist The Accounting department in various functions.

Responsibilities:

  • Review driver manifests and Trapeze trip data.
  • On a daily basis will reconcile manifests and trip records to verify accuracy of data.
  • Note discrepancies in data and document them in a standardized format.
  • Work consistently and accurately to meet daily deadlines.
  • File documents.
  • Maintain a safe work area and a focus on safety to reduce the opportunity for injury to self or other employees.
  • Maintain and organize manifests, includes document log, labeling of boxes, and orderly storage of manifests.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and managers regarding findings of reviews.
  • Maintain professional demeanor and appearance.
  • Maintain attendance within policy.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Talent Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • One (1) year experience with Trapeze software as a Trip Editor or Dispatcher strongly preferred.
  • Must have 10 key experience.
  • Attention-to-detail and accuracy while performing repetitive computer-based tasks.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and ability to work with spreadsheets.
  • Data entry experience and general knowledge of windows-based computer operating system and Microsoft Office package.
  • Analytical and reasoning skills.
  • Ability to lift 30-50 lb boxes of paperwork.
  • Problem solving skills, ability to research and evaluate discrepancies in data sources.
  • Ability to work independently and follow directions.
  • Ability to adapt and remain flexible in a dynamic environment.
