Job Description

MV Transportation is seeking an individual to provide technical support for corporate and local divisional office. In addition to technical support, the candidate will be responsible for administrative support to our local divisional office. He/she shall be a self-starter, highly motivated and able to work in a fast paced environment, and is responsible for handling various technology issues related to a transit environment and also supporting corporate infrastructure. This position will provide support to managers and employees through a variety of tasks related to General Office Administration.

Responsibilities:

  • In the Administrative Assistant component, provides daily support to multiple departments, and will serve as the primary back-up in the event of any lengthy absence
  • This position will work with the Executive Assistant for daily assignments and cross training
  • Other administrative duties include data entry and file maintenance
  • Other duties as needed and assigned
  • Responsible for providing desktop, server and network support for multiple office locations according to Service Level Agreements (SLA). This includes, but not limited to, desktop and server repair, network maintenance, helpdesk tickets, disaster recovery and other projects as assigned
  • Support of analog telephone, T-1, fax and DSL lines

Talent Requirements:

  • Experience supporting Windows XP, and Microsoft Office applications
  • Thorough understanding of computer, server, network, printer and peripheral hardware
  • High school diploma
  • Minimum of two (2) years of administrative management

  • Ability to work independently and follow directions
  • Excellent organizational and attention to detail skills
  • Ability to multitask
  • Experience with desktop, server and network management tools
