Job Description

MV Transportation is seeking an IT Trainer who is responsible for the training and monitoring of current employees and onboarding for new hires on all systems and procedures. He/she will conduct training and refresher training on IT systems and updates/patches for call center staff.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage new hire and veteran operator training programs to ensure that all call center staff receive initial training and refresher training as necessary.
  • Provide and/or manage classroom instruction according to corporate and client specifications.
  • Provide and/or manage monthly or annual ongoing/refresher training in topics relevant to the service and service area and in a timely manner.
  • Ensure complete and accurate documentation of all training activities and accurate completion of all training related employee records.
  • Ensure that all training materials are up to date, that necessary supplies are available and that inventories are secured and kept up to date.
  • Other duties as assigned by the division IT Manager.

Talent Requirements:

  • Three (3) years of training experience, ideally in a call center environment.
  • Previous transit/transportation experience a plus.
  • High School diploma and or equivalent.
  • Must have excellent communication skills (oral and written).
  • Familiarization with service area.
  • Ability to read, write and speak English.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work with all departments.
  • Ability to work independently and objectively.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Familiar with windows-based computer operating systems and Microsoft Office packages.
  • Strong analytical skills.
