Job Description

MV Transportation is seeking an innovative individual to provide project management and product oversight for operational technology and the customer experience. The position will require working closely with internal and external teams, our customers, senior management, and vendors. A successful candidate should be able to identify requirements and work with cross-functional teams to track progress and manage product releases. The individual shall be a self-starter, highly motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment. This position requires some travel (up to 25%.)

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead large, complex projects to achieve key business objectives
  • Establish timelines and product benchmarks
  • Consolidate ideas into user stories and necessary product requirements
  • Promote Continuous Improvement
  • Direct cross-functional and/or cross-segment teams management
  • Lead and collaborate with internal and external teams and vendors across multiple time zones to deliver solutions within negotiated timelines
  • Determine scope and priorities for product development cycles
  • Ensure that the development teams understand the business requirements
  • Create progress/status reports for consumption across all levels of the organization
  • Plan, Manage, Execute, and Report on assigned projects
  • Work with key stakeholders to ensure successful product releases
  • Perform special projects and other duties as assigned

Talent Requirements/Experience

  • Five (5) + years' experience as a Product Owner in Software Development
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Solid understanding of the product lifecycle
  • Adept at performing a variety of tasks, under set timelines
  • Strong leadership skills to lead teams
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experienced in fast growing, changing environment
  • Ability to build strong interpersonal relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience with AGILE methodologies and SCRUM required
  • Experience with DevOps practices required
  • Knowledge or experience in transportation or logistics
  • Experience with working with remote teams is preferred
